As an Application Support Engineer, you will work to find solutions to more complex problems, and you will have close communication with the IT team from the client-side as well as other company teams and 3rd party providers. You will assist large-scale corporate clients from the automotive and other industries and you will communicate with them directly during the whole process of finding the solution to reported issues.

You will create different reports about the functioning of the applications and keep an eye on them to make sure they work optimally. Your approach to problem-solving coupled with flexibility will stand you in good stead within this role. You will be a strong communicator and someone who is keen to develop and contribute to a vibrant, technology-focused business.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in similar roles;
  • Professional experience with relational databases like Oracle, PostgreSQL and MS SQL;
  • Experience in troubleshooting technical and application issues and root-cause analysis;
  • Professional experience with Linux server OS ;
  • Basic knowledge of IT security;
  • Excellent written and spoken German and very good English;
  • Structured and solution-oriented way of working,
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to understand complex problems quickly;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Enjoys working in a dynamic and developing environment.
